Loving a Dreamer

I’ve always admired those people who dream without hesitation. Who believe anything is possible. And who have the trust and guts needed to follow uncertain paths.

My husband is one of those people.

He has always been a dreamer. And he’s always had the uncanny ability to believe in himself and the possibilities that things just “happen.” I guess, in a way, to survive the music business you kinda have to be that way. But really, my husband has always amazed me in this way.

As I noted in my previous post, this New Year is bringing our little family a lot of changes. We welcomed a baby boy into our family of three and my husband started a new gig. Both changes happened earlier this month.

And while it has undoubtedly been stressful and overwhelming (just read my earlier post!), today I am so proud of us for not letting fear keep us from allowing dreams to happen. Because that’s the example I want to set for our kids. And my husband is SO good at it. He unknowingly inspires those around him to never stop dreaming, to keep believing and to follow your heart. By keeping a positive disposition, many things have happened his (and our) way and given us amazing opportunities. And instead of shying away from the scary and uncertain, he has listened to his heart and followed an unorthodox path.

Isn’t that how we all should live?
